Lila Prince is a New York City based actor, and recently graduated last year with a BFA in musical theatre at the University of Utah. Originally raised in Southwest Florida, she grew up singing and performing since the age of six. Her roots of learning to sing are the "Since U Been Gone" era of Kelly Clarkson and The Little Mermaid.
In her senior year, Lila was one of six interns at Pioneer Theatre Company, and was lucky enough to work on the second regional production of the new musical Christmas in Connecticut, book by Patrick Pacheco & Erik Forrest Jackson, music and lyrics by Jason Howland & Amanda Yesnowitz.
She recently portrayed River in Joey Contreras's beautiful pop song cycle In Pieces: A New Musical at the U in fall 2022, where she and her cast were coached by Joey and directed by Eric Sciotto. Her sophomore year of college, she spent her fall semester in a mole rat suit and worked with General Hambrick on a TYA production of Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: the Rock Experience! as Grande Mole Rat.
When not performing or rehearsing, Lila is found watching New Girl with her roommates, eating pasta, or FaceTiming her mom.
